Never on Sunday (A late post)

There are small signs, unnoticeable at first, that sneak up on us like a prayer answered just on the right time and the right moment. Is it really the nippy wind of Autumn creeping into my bedroom window? I have to spread a blanket on my legs as i leaned on the bedpost and muse myself with a book. It was a Sunday morning, outside the darkness and the mist still mixed with the silence of the people sleeping and the streets cleaned with the rushing cars and hotheaded drivers. I feel cleared and absorbed at the same time, the luxury of a private time enveloping me into an ideal Sunday morning world and the comfort of the coolness (Yes, it is the surest sign of Autumn) cocooning me into an even lazier creature.

And then the phone rang. I recognized the area code and so i picked it up. Duty calls, they needed me at work earlier than my usual shift. Something has come up but that is not really the point - my mental lollylolling is stripped.
